The 172nd Annual Convention of the Diocese of Chicago approved the 2010 cash stipendiary compensation for full time clergy at the same level as 2009.

• $55,880 if no church housing or utilities are provided by the employer
• $40,620 if housing and utilities are provided by the employer.

Supply Clergy

Contact Elizabeth Erickson  (312-751-4212) for a list of clergy willing to fill-in as a supply priest for vacations, or when a need arises. For 2010, the compensation rates for Sunday supply work and consulting are:

Sunday Supply Work

• $175 for one service
• $200 for two or more services

Consulting and Mid-week services

• $75 for first hour
• $50 each additional hour for a maximum of $250 per day

Mileage

• $0.50 per mile (The mileage rate is set according to IRS standards and is subject to periodic change.)
