Congregation Resources - Constitution and Canons

The Constitution and Canons of the Diocese of Chicago define the roles, organization, responsibilities and mission of the governing bodies of the Diocese; the roles and responsibilities of clergy and officers of congregations; the status and authority of congregations; and the financial and business methods for the diocese and its member congregations and institutions. The current version of the Constitution and Canons reflects changes approved by the 168th Annual Convention in November 2005.
