Our Work

Saint Teresa of Avila wrote that Christ has no other hands in the world now but ours. Episcopalians in the Diocese of Chicago take those words to heart, working to foster faith, justice and peace.

At Work in the Church, we mentor leaders, minister on campus, support a vibrant Hispanic ministry, encourage excellence in liturgy and music, and invite our young people to deepen their journeys of faith.

At Work in the World, we fight hunger, homelessness and racism, stand beside those living with HIV/AIDS, cultivate relationships with Anglicans across the globe, and promote a reverence of God’s creation through a sustainable use of our resources.
