Episcopal Church Women

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of Chicago supports and connects all women in the Episcopal community in their Christian mission and ministries, sharing faith and fellowship.  We worship as a community of women, turning to God in gratitude for blessings of family, home and friendship and asking for His guidance in translating our Christian belief into action.

The ECW is moving forward to reach out to all women in the church.  Young mothers who need support and encouragement, women who are working through major life changes, older moms who are dealing with an “empty nest”, retired and unemployed women, older women who are facing the challenges of aging – all these women are part of our community of faith.  We share our stories and connect with one another.

Our newsletter, The Mirror, is both published and available online. Members who request the newsletter electronically also receive a monthly e-newsletter with ECW highlights.  If you are interested in receiving our newsletter, please contact membership@ecwchicago.org.

Members of the board are looking forward to meeting you!  Contact Beth Petti, president@ecwchicago.org, if you would like a parish presentation on ECW and the “Connect and Be Heard” workshop or if you would just to share your women’s ministries.

For more information about the ECW and event registration forms, please visit the ECW website.
