Satisfies requirement of one-day of anti-racism training for elected and appointed lay leaders. This course is a prerequisite for the three-day training required of clergy. Training should be repeated every five years.

The Animating Antiracist Ways of Being workshop (formerly called Introduction to Antiracism) offered by Crossroads builds a foundation of shared analysis of systemic oppression among colleagues, establishes skills for talking about race and racism, and introduces participants to Crossroads’ applied tools for dismantling racism: an equation framework to describe systemic racism, an applied power analysis, and the Continuum on Becoming an Antiracist Institution.

Register at Crossroads for the June 12, 2024 Digital/Online Animating Antiracist Ways of Being with the access code EDOC1day. You will not be charged at registration. The Antiracism Commission will later bill you $40.
