Crossroads Training: Animating Antiracist Ways of Being @ Grace Episcopal Church
Apr 6 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Satisfies requirement of one-day of anti-racism training for elected and appointed lay leaders. This course is a prerequisite for the three-day training required of clergy. Training should be repeated every five years.

The Animating Antiracist Ways of Being workshop (formerly called Introduction to Antiracism) offered by Crossroads builds a foundation of shared analysis of systemic oppression among colleagues, establishes skills for talking about race and racism, and introduces participants to Crossroads’ applied tools for dismantling racism: an equation framework to describe systemic racism, an applied power analysis, and the Continuum on Becoming an Antiracist Institution.

This is a public offering, not customized for the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago.

Register at Crossroads for the April 6, 2024 Animating Antiracist Ways of Being with the access code EDOC1day. You will not be charged at registration. The Antiracism Commission will later bill you $40. Contact Lucas Sweitzer with questions
