2015 Clergy Appreciation Dinner and Conference October 11 - 13

Clergy of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago are invited to spend time with the Rev. Mark A. McIntosh at this year's Clergy Conference, October 11 - 13 at Techny Towers. McIntosh, a priest of the diocese, will explore the theme of "Mystical Ministry: God's Hidden Presence and Theology."
Join us! We begin Sunday, October 11 at 6 pm with the annual Celebratory Eucharist and Clergy Appreciation Dinner at St. David's, Glenview. After dinner we'll move on to Techny Towers. The conference proper will begin at 9 am on Monday October 12 and finish after lunch on October 13, with meals and breaks.
Important Dates and Deadlines:
- Online registration is open now through October 1 -- and the October 1 deadline is firm. Diocesan staff members will be in training and unable to make changes.

The Rev. Mark A. McIntosh, a priest of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, is the inaugural holder of the Chair of Christian Spirituality at Loyola University Chicago, having previously served as the Van Mildert Professor of Divinity at Durham University, U.K., and canon residentiary of Durham Cathedral. He is the author of Divine Teaching: An Introduction to Christian Theology, and Discernment and Truth: The Spirituality and Theology of Knowledge as well as other works. For six years he was a chaplain to the House of Bishops of the Episcopal Church and also served as canon theologian to the 25th Presiding Bishop. He holds degrees in history and theology from Yale, Oxford, and the University of Chicago. Mark and his family are members at St. Luke’s, Evanston, where he is a priest affiliate.
