Celebration of New Ministry for the Rev. Gregory L. Millikin

On May 24 at 7 pm, Grace Episcopal Church in New Lenox will hold a Celebration of New Ministry for the Rev. Gregory L. Millikin, the parish's thirty-sixth vicar. Bishop Lee will preside and preach. Clergy are invited to vest and process (white stoles).

2017 Clergy Conference

The theme for the retreat is "Encourage One Another," inspired by 1 Thessalonians, 5:11, and it will be a gathering for and by clergy, for the sake of shared ministry.

Save the Dates for Clergy Conference in October

Clergy of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago are asked to save the dates of October 15 - 17 for the annual Clergy Conference at Techny Towers in Northbrook, IL. The conference will begin the afternoon of Sunday, October 15 and will conclude by mid-day on Tuesday, October 17. Watch for more information and registration details to come.

By the grace of God and with the consent of the people of God, the Right Reverend Jeffrey D. Lee, Bishop of the Diocese of Chicago, will ordain Daryce Hoff Nolan, Garth M. Howe and Adam P. Spencer to the Sacred Order of Deacons on Saturday, June 17 at 11 am at St. James Cathedral (65 E. Huron St., Chicago, IL).

"As we approach Lent, I want to remind you of my invitation to come together with your fellow clergy to partake in the spiritual food of fellowship and mutual care offered at two clergy quiet days this month. These are offerings to help us deepen our relationship with God in Christ," said Bishop Lee.
