"As we approach Lent, I want to remind you of my invitation to come together with your fellow clergy to partake in the spiritual food of fellowship and mutual care offered at two clergy quiet days this month. These are offerings to help us deepen our relationship with God in Christ," said Bishop Lee.

"In recent months, Dominic and I have dreamed of programing a "year of regula" -- inspired in part by Charles LaFond's visit -- and I am pleased to be able to announce some next steps. These are offerings to help us deepen our relationship with God in Christ."
Clergy of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago are invited to the 2016 Clergy Appreciation Dinner and Conference October 16 - 18. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Canon Charles LaFond, Canon Steward at the Cathedral of Saint John’s in the Wilderness in Denver Colorado. The Sunday evening Clergy Appreciation Dinner will be held at St. James the Less in Northfield and the Clergy Conference will take place at Techny Towers (2001 Waukegan Road, Techny IL 60082).
On Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 4 p.m., Bishop Jeffrey Lee will ordain Nadia Stefko to the priesthood at St. John's Episcopal Church in Irving Park. The Rev. Jacqueline Clark will preach. Children are most welcome and clergy of all denominations are invited to vest and process (festal color is red). A reception will follow the service.
Clergy of the diocese are invited to a Lenten Quiet Day on Saturday, March 5 at St. James the Less in Northfield. The retreat will be led by the Rev. Lisa Senuta, rector of St. James the Less and a recent graduate of Shalem Institute for Contemplative Leadership. This quiet day will offer spiritual refreshment in God's presence through opportunities for contemplation, communal reflection and silent prayer.
