The position requires keyboard skills on both organ and piano; proficiency in leading congregational singing and accompanying other musicians; knowledge of liturgical worship; and a willingness to work in a collaborative worship setting. The duties include Sunday morning services at 8 am and 10 am and a 9 am rehearsal and monthly planning with the worship team, anticipated to be 4-6 hours per week total. Parish Administrator (Part Time)

The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Palos Park seeks a part-time Parish Administrator. The Parish Administrator works closely with the Rector to manage the business of the parish, including the areas of finance and accounting, risk management, human resources, building and grounds management, staff and volunteer management, planning, and communications. This position is a part-time salaried position, with a usual work schedule of Monday-Thursday 9 am to 3 pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for meetings and special church events.
Prior experience in office management and bookkeeping; good communication skills, knowledge of Word and Excel are required. Salary commensurate with experience. Music Director and Organist (Part Time)

Church of the Holy Family seeks a gifted, skilled, and fun part-time Music Director. We are a welcoming and inclusive Episcopal church, with great diversity in ethnicity and age. We have a talented volunteer adult choir. The music director will encourage the congregation’s love of traditional Anglican music and expose them to a wide variety of musical expression, particularly that which reflects the traditions of members of our congregation. Candidates should be experienced in liturgical music and willing to learn Episcopal/Anglican liturgy if s/he is unfamiliar with it.
This part-time position requires approximately ten to fifteen hours per week. This includes working with the rector to choose hymnody and playing the organ and piano at our 10 a.m. service on Sundays and other important church holidays. View a complete job description.

St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Lockport is looking to hire a musician/organist for Sunday services. We are looking for someone to supply for several Sundays, or be an interim, and this person may apply for the permanent position. St. John's uses an organ and piano and is open to other instruments. We strive to have our music ministry reflect the diversity of our congregation, the local community and the wider church. The musician/organist will be working with a small and growing choir.
