Little Angels Preschool provides a comprehensive early childhood education program that meets the individual needs and interests of each child in a quality educational environment.

The Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Little Angels Preschool. This position is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations, financial management, curriculum delivery, employee/student retention and achievement, parent/community relations, and strategic planning for the school. The Director must perform a variety of highly confidential and complex administrative duties including, but not limited to, budgeting, marketing, curriculum development and employee relations.

This position reports directly to the Rector of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, who provides direction on overall goals and priorities, as well as the St. Michael’s vestry. Accompanist (Part Time)

Custodian/Sexton (Part Time)

This position reports to the Interim Rector of the Church and also requires interaction with staff and vendors, so strong oral and written communication skills are necessary. The candidate must have experience with general building repairs, including basic repairs, painting, cleaning, etc. This position requires the Custodian/Sexton to be present for some events which may be outside normal working hours. Director of Christian Formation for Children and Youth (Part Time)

Nursery Caretaker (Hourly Position)

St. James Cathedral seeks a part-time nursery caretaker. The purpose of the nursery is to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean, and efficient care for children during St. James’ 11 am service and other special services as needed.

Responsibilities include providing age-appropriate care (which includes feeding, changing diapers, maintaining a safe environment, holding, sitting with, and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, and play); building relationships with parents and children; communicating to the Director of Children & Youth Ministry about families, schedules, and concerns; keeping accurate timecard and turning time card in at the end of each month; keeping nursery toys clean and organized; and staying until all children are secured with a parent/guardian.

The time commitment is Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. from September through June. Summer hours, June through August, and special service hours as needed. Nursery workers report to the Director of Children and Youth Ministry. View a complete job description.
