The Rev. Becca Stevens to Visit Chicago

September 17, 2014

The Rev. Becca Stevens is the founder of Magdalene, a community of women who have survived prostitution, trafficking and addiction. Thistle Farms, the project's social enterprise, employs nearly 50 residents and graduates who produce a natural body care line, a paper and sewing studio and the Thistle Stop Cafe.

On October 6, people from across the diocese will have an opportunity to meet Becca and some of her Magdalene and Thistle Farms colleagues at St. James Commons:

  • From 1 - 2 pm, all are invited to join Becca and her colleagues for a brown-bag lunch and conversation about her work.
  • From 2 - 4 pm, meet the women of Thistle Farms and shop their wonderful product line of body care products, candles and more.
