Updates from the Peace and Justice Committee

The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago Peace and Justice Committee works to ensure Christ's voice is heard in our society. The committee supports training on community organizing; letter writing campaigns; educational trips; and works actively on the issues of immigration, racism, poverty, gun violence and Palestine/Israel.

Palm Sunday community action:
The Peace and Justice Committee will join the Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance to Occupy Palm Sunday, a rally and action to preserve Lathrop Homes for low and moderate income families.  The Rally will take place Sunday, March 20, at 12:30pm.
