Chicago Pride on June 30

June 05, 2019

Chicago's Pride Parade will take place on June 30, and this year, Bishop Lee and Episcopalians from across the diocese will participate as part of the Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches contingent.

In late May, three members of All Saints', Chicago, appeared on the Greater Chicago Broadcast Ministries Different Drummers program to discuss plans for the parade and the Episcopal Church's journey toward full inclusion of LGBTQ people.

Westley Hodges, director of music at Annunciation of Our Lady Episcopal Church in Gurnee, has offered to assist congregations looking for affirming and inclusive music for their services. Contact Westley by email.

Watch the Facebook event and upcoming issues of the newsletter for more details about Chicago Pride, including a meetup location.
